Parker Scheer Included in the List of the Top Five Settlements in Massachusetts

Boston, MA - April 2007 - For the second time in the past three years, Parker Scheer LLP has been included in the list of the Top Five Settlements in Massachusetts, by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, the largest weekly newspaper serving the Massachusetts legal community. The reported case, handled by Parker Scheer attorneys Eric J. Parker and Susan M. Bourque, involved a recovery of more than $1.3 million dollars on behalf of a woman who suffered serious injuries in a motor vehicle incident. The settlement was cited as the fourth among the top five largest settlements year-to-date in Massachusetts. The first and second largest reported settlements were those handled by the Massachusetts Attorney Generals Office on behalf of the Commonwealth. Parker Scheer’s settlement represents the second largest personal injury-related settlement State-wide, year-to-date.
