Parker Scheer Arranges Set Tour of FOX Television’s “24” Raising Nearly $10,000 for Boston Charter School

Boston, MA - Boston's Media and Technology Charter High School (MATCH) is one of the nation's most respected charter schools. Who knew the school would open the doors to "24" – America's best action thriller TV show – for one lucky benefactor?

Parker, the childhood friend of "24" executive producer and Emmy Award-winning writer Howard Gordon, arranged for the donation of an original "24" TV show script signed by Gordon along with a round-trip flight to Los Angeles and a private, behind-the-scenes tour of the "24" set with members of the cast.

Parker is the immediate past president of the MATCH School's Board of trustees. His auction donation wound up generating the most revenue during MATCH School's annual gala on October 26th, beating out a number of other amazing auction prizes, including:

• An original Doonesbury Sunday sketch signed by author Garry Trudeau. This item was introduced at the gala by Trudeau’s husband, Jane Pauley.
  
• An hour-long visit with Boston College football legend Doug Flutie to throw the football around with a group of kids. The package includes an autographed photo of Flutie's famed drop kick.
  
• A one-week stay at an Eastham, Cape Cod house that sleeps 8-10 people and enjoys 180-degree views over a nature preserve tidal salt marsh and Cape Cod. Bay.
  
• A baseball autographed by Red Sox closer Jonathan Papelbon, and four tickets, in Field Box #28 directly behind the Red Sox dugout, to a Red Sox game.
