- DRIVING UNDER THE INFLUENCE - LEAVING THE SCENE OF A MOTOR
VEHICLE ACCIDENT - SOUTH BOSTON DISTRICT COURT
Defendant was alleged to be drunk driving in
South Boston. Defendant was also alleged to be involved in
a hit and run with a taxi cab in South Boston. Boston Police
stopped the defendant as he attempting to park near his home.
The police detected a strong odor of alcohol, along with bloodshot
glassy eyes, and unsteadines on his feet. Damage was observed
to defendent's vehicle and a Boston taxi cab. The Police alleged
the Defendant hit the taxi and fled and charged him with DUI,
Driving Under The Influence.

Hit and Run

At trial the police, taxi driver, and taxi passenger
testified. Defense Lawyer argued that there was insufficient
evidence of intoxication. Defense Lawyer also argued that

guilty of all criminal charges.
